Houston Hurricane Harvey 2017
Hurricane Harvey made landfall on August 25, 2017 and caused major flooding in parts of Texas. Some areas saw over 40 inches of rainfall. SERVPRO of East Louisville sent a storm team of 12 people for a total of 16 days to assist in the cleanup and restoration after the catastrophic storm in Houston, Texas. Our crews worked around the clock on over 20 jobs in Houston to help the residents get back into their homes.
In this job our crews had to remove the hardwood flooring, pulled nails and staples from the entire floor, created flood cuts in the drywall to create airflow to assist in the drying process, and moved out all of the effected contents.
